Just bought a 2006 g6 gt and just need some direction on how to beef up the performance on this thing and also if anyone has some tips converting this soon to be beast from fwd to rwd it would be appreciated

I believe the rear wheel drive conversion is possible, just difficult. Milzy motorsports is the only place that can make a g6 engine more powerful along with a tune from them as well or WAMS(white automotive media services)

There was a guy once upon a time that was doing a RWD conversion and had a how too type thing on his 08 GXP. However it's a lot of work man. The feed is on the other forum. But the ly7 also has a RWD option in other vehicles, whereas whatever your running in your 06 doesn't. Still might mate to a RWD trany. But I remember him having to grab parts from a AWD Buick for some reason etc. Too much IMO
