  • Greetings

Hello all! its a shitty rainy day out there so i can't really work andi figured it was probably time to sign up for the forum as ive been stalking these forums and reading all kinds of how to's for the past two years. I am the proud owner of a blue 2006 3.5 V6 GT G6 coupe, I'd really love to post a picture of it but im still learning how to do that and i guess its not as simply as simply uploading off my cell phone lmao. ill probably be hanging around here more during the summer as thats when i do alot of my car modifications as Canada is a cold heartless woman who likes to screw me over my most recent ugrade was replacing my muffler (my buddy got a free cherry bomb glass pack and gave it to me) i pretty much cut out the HUGE MF muffler out rerouted the exhaust to come straight out the center of my valance.. some people may judge me for it but personally i love the dual center exhaust system look and thats what really matters is loving your car. i did have to trim my valance to fit it and i do need to resupport a slightly hanging piece of the exhaust but the weather pretty much told me to wait and thats what I'm doin. i also diid have a single white rally stripe down the center of my G6 but removed it last night in preparation of my next design which ill end up doing some time in the next two months and ill be making a thread for it (if anyone's interested) so that's me in a nutshell, i ADORE my G6 and plan on keeping her until she dies and am looking forward to continuing to make her great and sexy! thanks for reading

I like it when I see others customizing their g6 as well! I too, love to customize my G6 GT. I have finally got the whole car decal on now and she looks great with it. I can't wait to see your next project.

Good luck if you're doing a retrofit in your stock headlights.

                        Re: Greetings

I always like the idea of the E.E. headlights to color match the vehicle. I think a white one on my white car would look clean. Like a pearl white possibly.

                          Greetings

If you paint the housing black, I suggest using the yellow can of Easy-Off to strip the chrome off the bezel and scuffing it all up with a Scotchbrite (or similar) pad. Then of course use primer, base coat, and clear coat and all of that jazz.
