    Tails

I really like the tails! However I don't like my head lights, I'm still posting them cause this is what I did

So I started out by cleaning my lights using the ol toothpaste trick, it doesn't make them brand new but the looked good for 10 year old assemblies

    One side

    Both sides

Then I did a light tint, it's hard to tell in the camera but it look splattered and like crap so I went to a darker tint to fix it

    Light tint

    Darker tint

Now I do like the look of the dark tint, but visibility at night sucks and there fore it's too dark. I can run with my brights on and nobody flashes me, it gave me as much vision as I had with my lows prior to tinting :/

So this means new he alight assemblies, which means I need your guys help! I can't decide, halos are cool but hear bad things, but there are also two different types of halo assemblies

    This one

    Or this one

Are either good? If not what about these

    Or these

Or should I just stay stock, the ones above are basically oem so I think those would be cool if I can't get halos.

So anyway what do you guys think I should get, kinda need to know quick tho cause I want to get rid of these crap headlight assemblies I made myself now LOL!
I bought from this guy to get my pair. I have the same issue as this pair is having. It is not hard to fix. I would suggest these.

Arn't those the first set I posted? I would pay more for new, instead of having already partly weathered plastic and a broken bracket.
I live my life a quarter mile at a time. For those 16 seconds or less... I'm telling my g6... Go faster!!!

Tinting your headlights is NEVER a good idea, and you learned the hard way. Get Eagle Eyes if you're going the halo projector route.

The links were different. I only suggested those eagle eyes if you wanted to save a lot of money. I agree with you wanting new. I'm just giving you options.

Yeah that's cool bro I wasn't putting you down or anything I was just trying to see if there was a dif in the product, ik they were different links but i was just wondering if they were basically the same assemblies. And therefore I in essence would get the ones you suggested just would get new thanks for the option I do appreciate it!

Awesome man! You are welcome. Any you are good, never once thought you were putting me down. As for the same assemblies, they are two different manufacturing companies. I did not have much money when I bought mine. So thank God I was able to fix everything that I could. Just going to try to fix that dang mounting tab on mine when I have time.

Yeah I hear ya bro for some things I'm that way too, when you can save a buck might as well, sometimes I have more time then money so I'm better off fixing :P but in this case I just wanted a simple fix, now I can plug and play, well drill a hole, plug and then play but close enough LOL

lol!! I agree with you there. okay, so let me help us get back on topic. What is next with your car's additions that can happen real soon? my steering wheel project is done depending on how you look at it. do I just liquid cement the cut ends on the wheel or cap it and hide the cut? I can at least install the wheel anytime before I cap or cement the ends. Just depends on how bad I want to make this complete.

I would cement the ends on then cap it! As for me my WAMS Tune has shipped, my spacers are in and those headlights are ordered and hopefully will ship out today, so in the near future I will be posting the instillation of all of these and my new rims. Also I have swapped out my old subs and my custom box for JBL GTI MKII 10" comp subwoofers, I haven't got pics yet but will soon that that will be posted as well. I sold my JL w3's and rockford Power t500 amp so I'm running these until I rip apart my car (carpeting and all) to install my competition system with JL Zr speakers JL w6 subs, JL HD amps and complete premium JL wiring. I also hope to in 2 or 3 weeks order my strut bar and MMI's, and then finish up the cosmetics and all that under the hood. The overall plan is to have this baby finished come mid to end of May!

So this weekend I got my new spacers in and my tune so I threw on my new rims and installed my tune! I got a few pics but I'ma tray to get some better ones, also gunna post comparison times but my trany is kinda crap so my before times kinda sucked and idk if my new ones will be much better, gunna run it tmrw hopefully, see what happens but I'm looking into a new trany. But here is some pics for now!
Before, thought it was a cool shot

                              After

Also put my old Neo Chrome lugs I had installed on my stock rims back on and I like them with these rims, like I said tho I'll try to post a few more pics with better lighting and such, I'ma try for around the same time as the first pic with my old rims in the same spot. But that's it for now guys (I also still have to post pics of the JBl GTI's in my trunk, I just forgot, but that's too come also)
