Here's a section of the 2010 G6 owners manual:

If that doesn't work, then this may be one of those issues that can be fixed with a BCM flash to the 2010 spec.
Ever since I got the new cluster it began showing my mileage as soon as I open the door, which isn't bad but it doesn't update.
I noticed yesterday as I opened the door it said one number. But when I cycled through the menus and got to my odometer it was a whole 93 miles ahead.
So I removed the key and opened the door and boom it updated and showed the current mileage.
I normally leave mine on fuel economy so I never noticed this before.
Looks like it just may be a bit laggy. Again its probably something a bcm flash to the 09.5 spec could fix...

I am almost ready to do this swap. Any more information on this swap? Do you think the 2009 bcm flash could fix it for sure?
Nah I don't think there's any other info. I really won't know if the bcm flash will fix the little issues for sure but it probably wouldn't hurt more than your wallet to try.
Not sure. I guess you could call a dealer and see what it would cost. The wams tune gives you a chance to change some things. Like the DRL or remote start.

I'll keep an eye out to see how yours comes out!
I'm going to try it soon. The seller sells the Speedo cluster after the first of the year. So I will get it soon.
How much for a flashed bcm for my 2008 G6 GT 3.5 with these instrument cluster issues fixed? I have the money to buy the speedometer now. And also, how much more to turn on remote start?
