Hey I just wanted to get some peoples opinions on this, do you think I could beat an 03 mustang gt, both of our cars are pretty much stock, except mustang has an exhaust.

A lot of factors, if the mustang is an automatic with 2.73 gears and no other major mods like a pcm tune it will be close off the line. At a roll like at 65 mph mustang has the advantage. If you have a pcm tune off the line the 3.6 should be faster but again at a 65 mph roll mustang prob has the advantage. Now if your stock and its a manual with a decent driver or an automatic with better gears then the 2.73s the g6 is slower.

I ran a Stang on the freeway that had higher rear end gear, intake and exhaust and beat him by like a car. I think all I had then was intake and tune, factory exhaust.

My old 3.9L tuned could beat off the line by a bumper length 99 up 4.6L off the line if was an auto with 2.73 gears. Couldn't do it to the manuals or auto with 3.31 gears.
The 3.6L does have more performance potential then the 3.9 gtp2006 G6 GTP: Traded

I was told the car had aftermarket intake manifold, throttle body, King Cobra clutch, headers, x-pipe exhaust. 3.73 rear end. We did a 45-110 roll. We were about neck and neck until about 90 and then I started pulling ahead by about a car. It was a few years ago. I know he traded that Mustang for a C6 Corvette.
