door dent molding trim? whatever it is i wanna take it off!

i wanna get rid of this molding trim thats halfway between the doors. is this possible? is it only held on by adhesive like the emblems or is there holes underneath it?

i think 2005 and 2006 have holes too.

If you really wanted you could probably have a body shop fill the holes and blend it, then repaint it

yea I could do that, I plan on getting the a detail paint anyways to get rid of blemishes and deep scratches. and my hood and front bumper is full of tiny little chips that I want painted over.

Actually thought about doing this as well but not sure if 08 model has holes underneath.

Yeah not sure if I wanna try to take it off unless I positively know there are not holes underneath.I wonder how I could find out for sure.

if peple had jumped on my g6 cannibal club idea we could have gotten you some replacement doors on the cheap at a junk yard somewhere lol but you could still do that yourself. that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to replace my entire door with a newer model with no molding
