    Re: plasti dip

plasti dip is amazing. Make sure you do good prep. I did my wheels on my 6 and my buddy did his wheels also mine is still in tact and his is starting to come up. He thought runnung his car through the car wash would be good enough. I used 3-4 different cleaners on my wheels and the last clean was with vinegar. what ever you use to clean it make sure it doesnt contain wax or anything for shine if it does the vinegar is a good thing to get rid of it

      Re: plasti dip

So I plasti dipped yesterday and got decent results. Is it safe to put the car in a car wash or should I hand wash it, and how long should I wait til I do it?

        Re: plasti dip

They say atleast 24 hours but I would wait a good week before going through any car wash. But I pressure wash mine all the time no problem.

Cool that's good to know cuz I like going to the self car wash and it has a high pressure hose. I have to wait about a week anyways cuz it keeps randomly raining where I live

Why is Divorce so expensive? Because the Hitman won't take Plastic.

Plastidip is awesome. I've done it to my bumper multiple times and have never had a problem.

                      Re: plasti dip

Every time I go to Home Depot they only have black, The cheapest place for all things plastidip is the link above. ^^ Plus every $10 you spend on the site they give you 1 dip point which = $1, Pretty cool system.
