what is your trans out of?

            Re: Transmission Compatibility

Im going to preform CPR and bring this thread back. I have a 06 GTP with a 4t65 trans. My trans is going out and I have about a month left. I was looking at getting a 6t70 or 6t75 which ever will fit. Can anyone confirm that it will work and fit?

                Re: Transmission Compatibility

The bolt pattern should be the same. Need someone to confirm. The biggest problem is the programation. Plus, the 6 speed trannies has an integrated TCM (I think) versus the 4 speed trannies that has an external TCM located somewhere else in the engine bay. I don't know about the compatibility of the flywheel and the input shaft.
