  • Whats the best way to post an update to my progression?

    OK.

So I started my progression thread.

When I want to post an update, is it better to edit the original post so that all the pics and mods are in the same post. Or, should I start a new post with the changes.

If we edit the original post then we don't have to filter through pages and pages.

On the other hand when you edit a post it doesn't bump it for an active topic. We could submit a post with the edit update stating what was mod was done.

I was just wondering what everyone thought of this or if any one does this?
    Thanks

hell, everytime you do something new, make a new thread.
Paying someone to install parts on your car, and bragging about it being fast is like watching someone SMURF your wife, and being proud to raise the kids

For the G6 I kept a list of links to all my mods on the first page to keep things tidy and tried to keep one updated picture on there.

That looks cool but how did you get your links to do that and not show the URL?

              It's called html code

[ URL = " put website link here "] what you want the text to say here [ / URL ]

And just remove all the spaces.

                That is actually BBcode

HTML on forums is a no-no. The forum though translates that BBcode into HTML to be used

I'm confused... we can or can not do this? I tried it and couldn't get it to work.

Just use the link tool in the WYSIWYG editor

Da. I feel like an idiot. It's the same code that the forum auto enters when you push the insert link button. only the site auto fills the link text with the URL so that's what shows up. I guess I should have caught that on my own. Thanks for the explanation.
                          I got it working.
