    Trans Am's for Rednecks?

    Some guy tried telling me that Trans Am's are only cool with the mullet, jorts and Skoal crowd. That's garbage at best. This thread sends that argument packing. If anyone else has great Trans Am pics to post, feel free. Also, if you check out the site below, you will notice that the mullet wearing redneck crowd is pretty much priced out of the Trans Am. Hard to find a decent one (previous generation) for much less than 40K. http://www.cars-on-line.com/firebird.html

    The first and last were bad ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          Nice! Good looking rides. I talked to the guy who owns the maroon one that I listed at the top. He says that car was silver when he bought it. Him and a friend tore the thing down and painted it maroon. You can't find silver anywhere on it.

              And this is my dad's twin just 1 year off...his is a '72 (strike year) but looks nearly identical...doesn't get driven much and been covered in the garage 2 years now or I'd snap a pic, just needs time to get it out and fix something with brakes...best part is he will never sell it, so one day it will be passed to me

                    I love the Trans Am. The latest generation is probably my favorite. My very good friend just purchased a 1999 LS1 Ws6. 28k miles for only $15k.

                            Yes, there is the argument that the Camaros, and to a leser extent the Firebirds/TA's come with a mullet.

                            But I will tell you this, I would still give my upper left nut to have a 2000-2002 black WS6 or a Firehawk. In fact, one of my fondest moments at the track was seeing a 2002 Black Firehawk lined up against a red 2002 SVT Cobra and spank it in the 1/4 mile.
