Bambamm's 2009 G6GT: First Page Shows All Mods w/Dates
I like it. It would be better if it is body-colored instead of black IMO.
It's color is Gun Metal. Almost exact match to the front lip of my AIT front bumper, side skirts and rear valence(which are stock) and also Gun Metal, too.
Re: Bambamm's 2009 G6GT: First Page Shows All Mods w/Dates
those LED tails look freakin killer man! i love 'em!
MODS:20% tint, Lumens 6000K HIDs low and fogs, Lumens white LED plate light and reverse lights, Spyder LED/CCFL Halo/Projector headlights, white/white "Switchback" LED rear tail/brake/signals, shorty antenna, debadged hatch and front doors, blacked out grill
Went to my buddy Paul's last night to go to Lynard Skynard Concert at Thunder Valley Casino, and boy, I didn't make it.
I luckily only clipped the tranny pan, so I will have to replace that and the gasket, maybe the filter inside, too. I've got almost 70K miles, so it wouldn't hurt. The exhaust, as you can see in the pictures got nicked, as well, and that can be repaired.
What I thought was going to be a bad situation, REALLY bad, turned out to be repaired for probably less than $100, now I just have to find some money??????
Re: Be careful what you drive over, on the freeway!
So you hit that piece of metal in the road? Looks like maybe a piece of semi rear door? Lucky you, sound like you were all right though. I'm also liking the fact you Californians have a really wide emergency lane in the middle of the highway, I don't think you'll find that anywhere else.
Re: Be careful what you drive over, on the freeway!
I shouldn't have stopped in that lane, though, I was in the fast lane already and didn't want any more damage that could have made it worse. I drug the thing 500 feet before it stopped dragging. The size of the dent in the exhaust is pretty shitty, but the important thing, the tranny is ok and the exhaust is just about an 8 Inch gap repair.
I don't think I'm gonna try to weld the pan back, together, but the roommate is going to have a go with it, but it's freakin friday night, and I need the car running tonight, and hope it will be.
