This thread is not to discuss differences and what if's....
Go to the website in the OP. Look at what this is. Most your questions
will be answered there. If you want to talk to owners of the hood then
ask away....
Lots of us around.
I tried AIT and they wouldnt even respond to my email requests.
Now back on topic please.
Im not sure what he will do for more than 5. Lets see if we get 5+ committed.
As for extending the deadline...he told me 60 days. I just picked that date in the OP based on that.....
im sure we can push it back a few days if necessary.
Hmmm...do you think you could talk to Eric to see if he could create a new fabrication fiberglass mold that somewhat resembles the AIT one, but functions?! So it'd be a MPD/AIT Hybrid...a new generation of hood could be born!

When I went to pick up the G6 following the MPD install, the owner of the shop asked me where I got this hood and did the shop make hoods for other vehicles. He stated that he had installed hundreds of aftermarket fiberglass hoods and he had never seen one that was the quality of the MPD. Most other hoods take a whole lot of work to get them ready to paint and install. The MPD took very little. He did a great job painting and I had him paint the mirrors while he was working.
I join the crowd that endorses the MPD hood. Well worth it.
Awesome hood got mine 4 years ago when only one other person had one on their G6. I paid 975 with shipping back than for it, so 735 is a awesome price for it.
wish I had the cash, would love to have this on my car!!
maybe i can scrape some $$ together by july...hmm

Plus, I think it looks great on the G6. See!!!
Who makes those rims, and do they make any other rims?? I can also agree with TNVOLSG6!! I had a fiberglass hood for my Cougar and it was a wreck when I got it!! It was wavy and the fiberglass wasn't even perfect, we had to take down the jell coat and redo some of it!! Plus the latching device was a pile... It opened up on me going down the interstate at 65mph!! I was covered in glass and the hood was in 2 pieces!! But I fixed it that winter even tho it was a pile!!!
I would love to get this hood on my G6!!! I hope I can get enough $$$ together by July!!
yeah my shop that does TONNNNNNNNNNNS of work with fiberglass said that the hood needed slim to no work at all to get it perfect. And not to bash but they worked on my AIT kit for prolly a day or two to perfect it where my hood was perfect from the get go.
MPD FTW!!!!
