IN 2005 they were seperate. The XM in back and the Onstar in front.
In 2006 they combined the XM and Onstar antenna into the sharkfin. One antenna for all.
If you just have XM though and no onstar then you just get the XM antenna.
I dont think you can get the onstar without the XM feature.
Anyways...I was asking cause a girl I know broke hers off but the base is ok.
Dealership said she had to order the entire $200+ assembly. She was
106,000 MILES! There are gateway drugs... and then gateway mods. BOTH ARE ADDICTING WATCH THE F*** OUT!
Now that I'm done with college, I realize how boring everyday life is.
I ordered one of these cause I wanted to have an extra to paint and the swap it onto the car instead of removing it to paint it. #10374577 is only the top part of the antenna, the fin itself, does not include the flat base part. Anybody have the number for that?
I got a G6 Convertable and can't stand that wanging antenna that's on the rear quarter panel. So, I got my hands on the combo 'fin' antenna. While I know it supports 'Onstar' and Satellite Radio, both of which I could care less about; my question is this: I can run my FM cable from my stereo to the antenna and it should work fine, right?

I am assuming that the shark fin is for satellite radio. Does anyone know how to hook it up to my Sirius receiver? Is there a wire hidden somewhere that goes to the antenna? I would like to use the shark fin instead of mounting another antenna.
Thanks
