Oh there is so much to cover.

    Start with this.
    http://www.autodetailingsolutions.net/g110-kit-1.html
Its a excellent starter kit. Comes with a backing plate, polishing pad, some 205 polish (AWESOME stuff) and some really nice microfiber towels.

While you are at it, pick up some M105 ( excellent for getting a defect free surface) but it should be followed up with M205 because M105 may haze up the paint.

If youre looking for something to wax with, be sure to get a black finishing pad used for speading waxes and what not.

Proper wash technique is a MUST because you cant always polish the paint.

This is put in the bottom of the bucket to prevent the wash mit from picking up the dirt on the bottom and swirling up the paint. ( You need a 5 Gal bucket for it)

A good wash mit to capture any dirt and not swirl the paint

Never use a regualr towel to dry off the car, use something like this
    http://www.autodetailingsolutions.net/x2000.html

Your list should look like this
    Grit Guard
    Wash mit
    Drying towel
    Microfiber towels
    G110
Different pads ( Polishing and finishing pads)
    M105
    M205
    Wax ( I say NXT 2.0)

As for waxes, there are alot of different options, it just depends on your price range.

was it you or darlene that liked adams so much?

im thinking her based on what you just said

as of right now, no real questions. im sure ill ask more when i get the equipment.

                    well maybe one

difference (besides price) in the g110 vs 7424 and the flex dual action or flex 3401

Re: Fisch-give me some equipment ideas

G110 has a slightly larger motor then the PC and the Flex is the mother of all DAs. It has forced rotation which means it cant bog down like other DAs, larger motor etc etc.

Its a awesome DA but personally id start off with a PC or the G110 because the Flex is very powerful and cause slight damage if you dont know how to use it.
