Every once and a while my engine will shut off by itself (when its in gear) when im stopped. I've taken it into the dealership and they can't find the problem.
Has anyone else had this happen?

wow, that sux. I do not have this happening but i would think a code would have been thrown? No check engine light?

I had the same exact thing happen to me that you are describing for an 04 cavalier 2 months ago. It ended up being the ignition coil. The engine would studder when i was stopped and eventually die.Comment
