oh........well i thought all the fusion sports had AWD? or do you not have a sport?
Nope. Fusion SLEs and sports are both fwd or awd mine is a fwd sport. The SLEs come with the 3.0L 240hp if ran on E-85 and the sport has the 3.5L used in the SHO without the twin turbo chargers rated 263 hp, though I think mine was around 280hp stock
The AWD Fusion sports are much slower from I understand. There as much as a second slower from 0-60 MPH. From a performance stands point the FWD is faster.

Thats correct, my sport hits 60mph on street tires in 5.6 secs I think the awd does it in 6 1/2

The AWD thing I think is a myth they are not much slower if at all... I have been to the track with another Sport FWD. I had the fastest time out of 7 runs. We had about the same miles and it was hot outside. I beat him 5 of the 7 times. Even on the street I have taken out other Sport models. Trust me the AWD makes up for the added weight with no loss of traction. We will see this spring though.
2012 AWD Fusion Sport...

If I run drag radils there wont be any added advantage for awd. I haven't seen any awd sport bust a 1.9 or 1.8 60ft yet
Best I seen so far was a 2.0. So yes we will see in the spring
