  • for those of you interested

for those who are interested, I got up with something for those of you who are thinking about doing any headlight modifications other than just painting them. I know some people on here wanted to go projector and what not so i bring you this. I got a hold of this guy, a couple of you might have heard of him, and he is legit, and I already ran this past Kyle as well, if you want to customize your headlights. Here is the emails of communication (his reply is first):

hello samantha. i believe just angel eyes may look a bit.... tacky. but this is just my opinion. especially for such a great powerful car such as the G6 GTP. what i would suggest is a set of HID projectors. i can have them look exactly like factory too. for bi-xenon projector headlights (hi/lo beams), HID kit, custom bezels, shrouds, and shipped, you are looking at 750.00 retail. but if you place my logo onto you car and do as much as you can to help promote my company by telling your buddies at g6performance.com, you are looking at only 550.00 shipped.

please let me know if you have any other questions, and thank you very much. have a great day!

I talked to you a long time ago when I drove a Sunfire about some headlights, since then I sold it and got a new car. Now here is what I need help with, I drive a Pontiac G6 GTP and I want to modify my headlamps. Well as of right now the only option is to paint the interior of them which is far beyond fine with me but I also want to add something to it. Do you think angel eyes would work with these headlights or would it be a little much? Someone already “attempted” at making projectors for their car but you can pretty much say they failed to the fact that I don’t think they a)knew what they were doing and b)didn’t have the material they needed, or should have used. I actually have a bunch of different questions but I don’t want to throw them all at you at once. I am still on the org, MissSunfire96SE is my sn on there, but on the forums (usually under AG or SouthEast) I just use my name, in case you were wanting to know who you were discussing with and also there is a frontal view of my car (for headlight looking reasons lol). I was wanting to set up something that was different, but if I had the angel eyes I would only want them to run with the fogs if that was possible and have my other lights running as normal. Hope to hear back on a suggestion. Also, if you check out g6performance.com if you think of anything that would be awesome for the headlights to do, I know there would be a lot of people on there willing to pay for some things to be done or buy to do.

sorry i know it was a bit of a read, but my take on it is that is a really good deal lol.

    his website is http://www.izntrbl.com

he can answer any questions you have and what not, and i think if your nice enough and send your lights to him, he will do em his self and then send em back to you if you dont want to be the "at homer"...either way, i just thought this would be cool for anyone who wants to do this.

sounds nice, but having to pimp his company to save just $200 doesn't seem worth it. IMO i'd prefer just to pay retail.

lol like a small decal would hurt anything and if you choose to theres always that later date of taking it off or payin a lil more for your items lol. youre not being forced to

all i was stating was that theres someone willing to work with us to modify our headlights, not many companies want to get out and work with us..and he is throwing a good deal.. either way, discount or not, its an awesome deal.

I would put a sticker on my car for a while to save $200 bucks, but then again I dont have $500 for headlights

                    update:

hello sam. looks like a great turn out may come to be. as for the decals, it's all about the honor system. i dont make you show proof, nor do i make you sign anything. im just trying to give people a break on the cost in hopes that they may help me out by bringing in more business. im not "pimping" my company at all. nobody if forced to do anything at all.

thanks for helping me out sam. i highly appreciate it. if anyone has any questions, they may contact me.
                    thanks again. samantha.

so is this price for the entire assembly or is it in addition to you sending him a set of headlights? i'd probably do it if it were for the entire assembly

Good question, also is there a photo of the sticker on another car so we can know what it looks like and how much it cost? The only other problem I have with this is Tiny (the xtreme-door show car) uses those headlights. If this is going to turn out like the hinges I'm not sure I want to do it. Hacknslash was going to mod the headlights, did he give a price for HID?

haknslash hadn't given any prices. this guy is also talking about bi-xenon projectors, it might be less expensive if you decided to do regular projectors and kept halogen high beams. that is what i would tend to do anyway since i have yet to use the high beams in my G6. i already have the HID stuff i need so i am really just looking for labor prices and turn around time since i no longer have a 2nd vehicle to drive.

edit: i guess Hak did give prices and a link in his thread....i just missed it the first time.

I checked on the website today and it stated that the housing which you would want modified would have to be sent in.

"*Note: It is up to you to provide the stock housings for us to build with. You may choose to either send us the ones off of your car, or you can purchase a set and have them sent to us."

I agree that this would be an awesome deal if didn't have to factor in buying another set of headlamp assys. so that you could still drive you car while you waited for the modified ones to come in. All said and done, with the sticker on your car, it will probably cost around $1,000. Sorry, no way I would pay $1,000 for headlights.
