  • **Review** Keyless Fix for Remote

    Product: Keyless Key Fix
    Bought from: http://www.keylessfix.com/keylessfixcom/
    Date: Feburary 26th, 2010
    Price: $10 (shipping included)

Quality of Product: 10 (out of 10)
    Ease of Use: 10
    Installation time: 2 minutes
    Recommend?: Yes

    Pros:
    -Fixed my remote responsiveness
-No more battles with the remote
    -Clear instructions, informative website
    -Notified by email about delay

    Cons:
-Shipping took awhile since its based in Canada, and they recently redesigned it so there was a delay in shipment.

    Additional Notes:
-This is my second remote that came with my car and both became nearly unresponsive after half a year of use each. After becoming frustrated, I just ordered this after hearing it worked. It does exactly as advertised.

I'm posting this mainly because this is a common problem with GM remotes. Simple fix and I'm here to say that it works.

(Sorry it seems like a plug-in, I just like to review everything I buy)

Great product, easy programming, it works ! I got exact same remote from keyless-remotes.com. ,but some guy lied to my face and told me that if I bought it online it was not going to function properly, but it did !!!

      Re: Keyless Fix for Remote

      Greetings all!

I just want to let you all know that I just got my Keyless Key Fix from www.keylessfix.com. The lock, unlock and panick buttons were not working on my remote. Maybe 5% of the time I pressed the buttons, would my car lock or unlock. Sometimes I really had to press the damn buttons so hard my fingers cramped up. So, I read the original review from Abyssul above and I ordered mine directly from their website on Wednesday and it arrived today, Monday. I did not receive any tracking numbers or anything because mine came in a standard mail envelope with the pad attached to a letter. Installation was VERY easy. The keyless fix pad has a flat side and a side that has some indents. The flat side goes against the actual rubber buttons on your keyfob. The indent side goes against the board. Once the pad was installed and the remote put back together, my keyfob now is back to working like new! I would highly recommend trying this out before you go to replace your remote as like I said above, this fixed my remote and saved me the $25 for a new remote and $60 to have the dealer program it for my car.

I would DEFINITELY recommend this product to anyone who is having remote issues.

        Re: Keyless Fix for Remote

I just put a piece of aluminum foil into the remote where my lock button wasn't working. It now works 100%. Cost: $.001.
