  • How a G6 saved my life with a little/lot of help from above

Ever wonder how your G6 would hold up if ever involved in a serious accident or a rollover?
I WALKED away from this only injuries I sustained were 5-6 broken bones in my left hand (fingers) a bruise on my elbow, a bruise along my collar bone where my seatbelt was. Several EMT's ask what kind of car was that because it held up & saved my life! I still would like to give alot or all of the credit to my gaurdian angel

well here ya go see for yourself:

head up ass moment ~ was on my way to work on the interstate southbound in the fast lane (of course) looked down at my phone to change to the next song looked up & the van that was going consideravly slower in the outside lane (slow lane) had came into my lane to let traffic merge I slammed on my brakes jerked the wheel felt my ass end was coming around I overcorrected hit the van right in the corner push him out of the way he spun around tipped over on his side I went into the median sideways started flipping landed on my top blocking both of the northbound lanes of traffic.

oh that poor 6er so are you gonna replace it with another G6 like a GXP or something? im pretty impressed with how hard it seems to roll a G6 in the first place, ive had it completely sideways a few times (twice within 10 min after cresting a hill at 80mph to find it covered in hail but kept it on the road and saved it both times) and the 2nd time when i wrecked avoiding a headon on the interstate, in which i ended up goin sideways at like 75 off the highway thru the ditch and a fence and was still right side up........

Well I had extreamly balled tires had just bought a set was waiting till days off to have them mounted, it had rained (poured) the night before hints all the mud on my seat that flew into the car after my first roll & it was kinda a steep down grade into the median plus Im pretty sure I was going 80+ i usually am doing at least 90 but there was a state trooper in front of us so everyone was staying back but he took the exit then everyone started speeding up!

O yes I plan to get another one & yes I'm gonna upgrade to a GXP if I can help it!
I have already found 3 GXP's within a 300 mile radius of me that are 09's that have 1k or less miles on them on even only has 6 miles so I would be the first owner so would be like new but old so wish me luck!!!

You are most fortunate not to have been more seriously injured. As well, it's a very good thing there was no one riding with you except your guardian angel. Now, I must ask you not to speed so much and to drive defensively at all times. In addition, those electronic devices are a danger/hazard so be more careful. Now that the lecture is over, I am glad that you are alive and generally well. Take care.

Glad you are ok! It's great to know that the coupes hold up, even with flipping on the sunroof!

I have to stand by standfast. This is not directed just at you but everyone. Working in the insurance industry, and seeing effectively 1000's of people cancelled, this is what happens with drivers in general; Speeding, speeding, speeding, accident, speeding, speeding, moving violation, accident - then cancelled.

In other words, slow down! There is a direct correllation between speeding and getting in accidents.

OK. I'm done with my soap box. Good luck with the new whip.
