    Re: North Carolina 6er's

I'm going to be studying Electronics Engineering...so someday I'll make the big bux and get the cars of my dreamz. But in reality...if I ever get a married...it'll be my wifes money...

I've been trying to get into a posting pattern...but it hard to do sometimes.

Yeah, I think I'm going to buy one before I get married, and if it doesn't work out that way then i'll make that as part of my marriage disclaimer: I get to buy a car of my choice and any value I deem appropriate. That or, just find a girl who doesn't mind nice cars.

That could work...finding a car chick I mean. Well...for me...she would have to be car/truck/bike chick...cuz I kinda like them all. But I get the point.

          I like that "marriage disclaimer"...that's pretty clever...haha

Seems like this past weekend I've seen nothing but G6 Sedans on the roads...been dying to find another Coupe in my area, so I can see how my car stands up to it...before the mods...and then again after the mods that are on their way.

Well...I'd be more willing to get together for local meets or whatever once I get up to the Raleigh area...so we'll have to keep that in mind and get some cold ones sometime or something.

                  Re: North Carolina 6er's

Eh, I build 'em, overclock them, program them...I know my way around one. Wouldn't claim to be a genius 'cause I work with folks that plain run circles around me, but I get along pretty well. Most of what I deal with is Linux server admin stuff (working on a mail server now and feeling more stupid by the day). I started out as a student tech removing viruses from people's computers, haha. I'll be happy to help when I can though, I enjoy it. My list of passions are my girl, my computers, and then my car, but trust me they all three take up loads of cash!

HAHA...I believe ya about the cash thing. I've spent more money of vehicles than I can imagine. I've built my computer from the ground up and I think it ended up costing about a grand...and whenever I have a gf...I usually end up spending more money than I should on them...but what can I say...I like to keep them happy.

I've never used Linux...so yeah...I might be getting some help with that if I need it.

                      Re: North Carolina 6er's

The motherboard and ram I got in for my new build last week cost me almost $700 Already had the CPU/drives/vid cards/heatsinks/PSU for it. Should be good when I get it done, I've had some difficulty with some modifications to my case so I haven't gotten it all put together quite yet. That there's the reason my tires are bald and I don't have my rims yet, heh. Not to mention that $100 pair of shoes I bought number one that were 'a perfect match for her dress' for the formal night on our cruise in two weeks, heh. Damn shoes cost as much as the dress. But she looks good, what can I say

Mine are getting that way, and I still have my hubcaps. It'll probably just have to go on the CC.

Anybody listen to 95.1 FM or 96.1 FM?

I tried switching back and forth between them this morning all the way to work and I was getting terrible reception. Other stations were cutting in and out over top of them it was hard to hear. I don't know if it was just me, maybe my car's radio, or if it seems to be a general problem. Normally I get them perfectly clear.
