    i'm not sure yet.......ive yet to come across any place that sells aftermarket ones lol finding stuff is a lil dificult for the 3.6 being most of this stuff is in australia lol.......hell the site i linked with the rods and pistons i just found yesterday as far as being listed for sale on the net other than "email this guy and ask about getting some" sort of thing LOL

    Hey Brian, what are you doing about bearings? Are you sticking with OEM, or going aftermarket? This is where I'm sort of stuck trying to decide, although I'm leaning towards OEM.

    considering some of the crossover 3.6L LY7s make 275 all due to their intak manifold differences from the amount of room they have in the engine bay? that in itself is 23hp more than the gxps 3.6 soley in the manifold design.......

    i have drove it once for a very short period due to haveing to run without the MAF as there is no room for it unless i do a fenderwell intake........so im going to see if whn i have my race engine ready to drop in and get tuned on the dyno if Chris can do an MAFless tune on the 3.6......... also the tabs on the lower need moved to between the runners as they hit the cam covers right now, which i fixed with some rubber i had laying at home to make a spacer between the heads and the lower just to see it running and let me tell you there is a pretty substantial noticable power gain..............

    on to the pics of it installed........made some new intake piping up and made a new heatshield out of really thin sheet metal for the new pipe routing....once we have the development done on these manifolds and know exactly how to make them im gonna ask robert to make me a new CRAB to account for the new pipe routing









    and i finished tearing apart my 3.6 gonna prob just get a new crank, new oil pump, new gaskets, new VVT solenoids and bearings and clean the block real well........then add in the forged rods and pistons i have on order and cams, injectors, port and polish, underdrive pulley and the intake manifolds we are developing....... if all goes well that should put me around 450hp Naturally Asperated, so after this summer ill be finished with go fast mods for quite a while, procharger may be in the future long down the road...........after that shell get coilovers and thats prob about all the mods that are out there so far lol..........mabey a double din DVD/NAV radio idk

    its the new upper intake manifold that we are developing for the 3.6 ;-) in australia they have a manifold for their RWD 3.6s that gains 25hp on a stock engine and up to like 40hp gain with port and polished heads and lower and such so thats what we are shooting for.......mre than likely the end resul will be a bit different and not as much cutting and welding as this is just the prototype that the designer had fabbed up that im finishing the work on and then installing and dynoing to verify the gain.........

    in the land down under a good flowing intake manifold, a port and polish on the heads and a set of cams makes 425hp on an otherwise stock engine.........

    also the increased runner length over stock brings the peak power band down to a more usable RPM if i remember right as well....

    actually yes, i need some AL welded on to my spare lower, and i need some tabs moved on the prototype and holes filled on the plenum as the designer found adter he had it fabbed that the mounting tabs hit the cam covers, i MIGHT be back on FRO but will be back on sat sun and mon for sure this week, after that i have no idea......

    it works just fine, the buttons on the radio change the DIC on both the radio, and the cluster i have a 2010 malibu wheel on the way with paddle shifter im gonna try to get working, and mabey the new wheel switches will control the cluster, i guess ill find out......
