Specs on new 6-speed automatic transmission?

Anyone got specs on the new 6-speed auto transmission for the 2007 GTP (MH2)? Like gear ratios? If there will be steering mounted shift paddles?

What do you guys think about thos ratios and a 2.77 final drive?

2.77 final in drive seems good for gas millage but a lil low for performance but guess thats why its a 6speed to make up for having to have a final drive of 3.69 think our 4spds are at and not so great on MPG

That's what I think also. Pretty tall gear for performance. The first gear is really low though, so it should launch good. The other thing bothering me is the huge difference between the 1st and 2nd like in the 4-speed now. That's one thing I don't like about the 4-speed. 1st is too low and 2nd is too high. When the 2007 are out, I guess we'll know!

^ def agree with you about the 1st and 2nd gear on the 4spd. I love first gear when avalible and 2nd gear as a steet start is like a turtle

The 6 speed auto(6T70) is a compromise between performance and fuel economy. Actually, the 6 speed auto(6T75) going into the Saturn Outlook has a numerically higher ratio of 3.16. Go figure that.
