    Any Other Comments:
I bought the V1 about 4yrs ago. Since then I have had the software upgraded once for the new radar bands for aprox 80 dollars. Whats unquie about the V1 is it has directional arrows showing where the radar is coming from weather its infront of you, behind, or sideways. Also can track up to 9diffrent radar signals at one time. The unit is NEVER opsoite like other radar detectors become over time because it can always be sent in for updates. The company as been around atleast since the eairly 90s so is established.

What made me write this review
Have been having issues with it for the last few weeks, been suspecting not picking up all the radar anymore. I called up and had it sent in, I just pay the shipping out and they paid it for it back. But here is what has me completely sattisfied with it. They call me up to inform me they recived it, and atlongest there is no neglect or damage done to the unit caused by me the issues will be resloved for FREE! Apears had a minor software clitch, got repaired even though 4years old and sent back. Had it today and back to being it "normal" self again.

Am VERY satisfied with the unit. Best I have ever had. Before I use to have Bell-Tronics (which still isnt a bad company) and I belive the V1 all the way around it a solid good performing unit.

                  Re: Valintine One: Radar detector

The Valentine One, IMO, is the best damn radar detector on the market bar none. I don't leave home without it. It has saved me its cost a hundred times over. Well worth the investment if one does "spirited" driving. They do not pay for your speeding tickets. That is another detector company. The engineer that started Valentine used to work for Escort and left and started up his own company many years ago and has been blowing them off the map. Don't get me wrong, Escort is good (I still have one in the drawer in my room) but the Valentine runs rings around it. Soooooooo

                      Re: Valintine One: Radar detector

Seems to me there was someone advertising a 1 year ticket pay deal. Of course the insurance is the killer. Don't remember who. I have 3 Escorts; 8500, 8500 X50 and a Passport (battery operated for the motorcycle). Happy with all three. Everyone seems to think the Valentine is the best. May very well be. Either brand is good, if used correctly. You still have to watch for the instant-on type radar, and lazer.

If I had the money for another, unsure if I would got for the VR or the 9500 Escort with GPS.

                      Later,
