The long rumored folding hardtop convertible Sebring from Chrysler may well be DOA. The May 29, 2006 issue of Autoweek has a spyshot of the somewhat disguised 2008 Chrysler Sebring convertible (p.2) which clearly is not a folding metal top. Would Chrysler possibly be offering a soft top and a folding metal top? I recall Mercedes had test CLK convertibles in both hard and soft top configuration before the last model change with the soft top being the only one that ulimately made it to the marketplace. Is history repeating itself at Daimler Chrysler?
