Took Rosey and some friends to the opening weekend of the Lakeshore Drive-In in Monticello, IN. Watched the new X-Men and The Sentinel. I love the drive-in!

Yeah, me too! A few years back they added the SECOND screen to the Lakeshore in Monticello. I'm pretty sure that's unheard of now (expanding drive-in theatres). If you want to watch one movie you face your car to the first screen and turn your radio to one station. If you want to watch the other movie you face your car the other way and turn your radio to the 2nd station. It's pretty cool. This is the only drive-in I've been to besides one in NJ several (15+) years ago. At that theater it was 1 screen and they had a speaker you put in your window. Tuning to the radio station sounds SO awesome, especially with the Monsoon system. It's a great setup. I hope the drive-ins come back with a vengeance, it's such a cool thing to do in the summer. 8) :D

X-men was really good! Got more I wanna say, but let's just say... if you liked the first two you're bound to like the 3rd.

No! I didn't go to Indiana Beach! Is it open yet?! I didn't know! There's SO much more than corn in Indiana at the SUPER-SENSATIONAL In-di-an-a--Be-ach!

Exactly! Corn is NOT that bad! Unless you've detasseled. And then corn IS REALLY bad! And I detasseled for 3 years. So as far as I'm concerned, corn is the devil.

I drove the tractor for detasseling for couple of years and get paid more than the detasselers. I've never quite understood that.

Valparaiso, Indiana... Look it up on map quest I would guess about an hour and they have the radio thing so that you can hear the movie through your radio. Excellent.

According to Mapquest it's 114 miles from Oak Lawn. Not sure where you live but that should give you an idea.
