    Since I was gone for a few weeks last month, I figured I'd

      Telling Hooters girls my supervisor had a birthday when he didn't. Right before they made him take menus and flap his "wings" while they sang to him.

                By "they" I'm assuming you mean the USAF. In that case yes. They also use it for the annual Red Flag operation, to simulate the aggressor squadron, where they're painted up in color schemes and fly like Russian MiG's.

                There are a lot of third-world nations that still use them as front-line fighters though, like Indonesia for instance.

                We tried to market a revised single-engine T-38 as the F-20 Tigershark II, but that didn't go far.

                  yeah the USAF. Most of the ones I've seen are painted up in training colours.

                        The F-5e (T-3 is also one of the most manuverable fighters in the world and can easily out turn larger aircraft like the F-14 and F-15, so they get used at Top Gun to train pilots to defeat aicraft much more manuverable than the main line US.

                        Interestingly enough the F-14 is called "the aluminium cloud" by the Navy sailors
