    Cheap & Easy Mod That Will Save Your Paint

    Hello all!
    Wanted to let all of you know about something I installed on my car that could save your
    paint job in the future. It's called a Gas Bib and fits right around your fill pipe opening. Take minutes to install
    and keeps gas from getting on your paint should you spill any while filling your car. Here's some pics.



    You can find these at alot of sites for under 10 bucks! Worth every penny!

    I just turn the nozzle upward before I pull it out. It hasn't dripped on my car yet

      It seems to me that if it does catch the gas it will spill out onto the paint when you flip it up in the gas filler door. I guess you would just have to make sure you grab a paper towel and wipe the residue off. Great find!

        They need to design it to drip the gas back into the tank! It will pay for itself in just two fills!

          Whenever I pull the gas nozzle out I just be quick about it. If it drips anywhere it drips on me but thats better than on the car right?

              I guess that's even easier! I have had a habit of trying to fill my car up too much at times and this bib has saved me from cleaning the gasoline off the side of my car when I've done this.

                That is one thing that can be changed on the G6. A lot of cars have a hanger on the door that the lid hangs on.

                  This is definitely a good thing for when the girlfriend or parents borrow the car. I hate to see it come back with fuel drips down the paint. Thanks.
                  Under-steer is when you hit the wall with the front of the vehicle.
                  Over-steer is when you hit the wall with the ass end of the vehicle.
                  Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.
