Ahhhh that sucks I have the one without the extra weather stripping. Go ahead and disconnect the bat. trust me just do it. I drove mine for 300 miles and didn't feel much change. Hooked up my amp and when I jumped in it was way faster. It happens a lot quicker. I think he meant that it will just relearn it over time rather than start from scratch if you disconnected the battery.Comment

? I distinctly remember reading that if you disconnect the battery you need to calibrate the windows. There are even instructions on how to do it.-Mike #1
