i have them installed already, without the set of Figure grills in them yet

You see, Figures grilles, with the stock chrome trim, painted in that silver/metallic colour would look hot. It'd look kind of like the Grand Prix GXP grilles.

lately i've been leaning towards thinking painting the entire lowers is too much silver...i think i'm leaving mine with just the uppers painted bc to me that's what looks the best at this point in time...i change my mind a lot

to be honest though, you dont really notice the strips going across the bottom all that much, just basically around the fogs

and at night you can see the silver around the fogs, like it is looking at you

My next mod, when money allows, is going to be painting the side mirrors to color match my car, and hopefully at the same time painting the headlights to color match also

i think that will really set it off, especially the mirrors

yea the mirrors are key...that's one of the reasons i got black, bc i hate brighter colored cars with unpainted mirrors
