i did it in the 93 ga and iy made a big difference...so, has anyone done it in these cars

Waste of time. I did it on my last car and it ran better for about 100 miles, then went down hill. Rough idle, worse mileage too. I ditched it soon after.2006 G6 GTP Coupe

mine is a '99 4.3 and i honestly can't even tell i ever did it. mileage, idle, performance, sound...everything is the same. i wouldn't do it again i was just surprised to hear everyone flip out at the mere thought. if other cars have problems though it makes sense.

DO NOT DO IT!
Here's why, the screen is there to smoothen the airflow over the sensor to allow for a more accurate reading, removing it can cause iritic readings which leads to a number of other issues. There screen is there for a reason and it a good reason at that.2009 Panther Black G8 GT
