  • GTP is going bye bye

I traded the GTP in yesterday. Wanted something a little better on fuel with the longer comute everyday. I am also getting rid of the engine covers. If someone is interested in a trade for their covers plus some cash. Let me know.

We came to Lethbridge for the weekend to visit the family and Friday night at about 12:30 am some one decided it would be fun to throw a bottle at my car. The bottle took the paint off the door, chipped the driver's window and bust the mirror. Of course it happened the night before I was taking it in to trade it. So now I have to wait a couple weeks to get it fixed. Pissed me off.

an 2008 lancer gts? is that the new body style that has the paddle shifters on the steering wheel? I really like the new lancer gts. for a small car its pretty nice and very sporty. Also finally has a decent amount of power. good choice.

The 08 Lancer GTS is a great looking car.. I considered it after i got rid of my Galant... but they wouldnt budge on the lease price and i refused to pay anywhere near $330 for a 4cyl so i had to move on. Glad i did tho. Def post some pix and good luck!

You're going to hate the lack of torque. Nicely appointed though

Will definetly post pics as soon as I pick her up. Yes it's loaded, only missing the nav system. I know I'll miss the torque but will like the mileage more. Leaves more money for beer!

As for the covers, I have a couple people who have spoke for them. But I'll keep ya in mind if they don't take them.

Thats a really sharp looking car. The 18" factory wheels are really nice too. The only knock I've heard about the new lancer is the weight, somewhere around 3100 lbs for the GTS. Thats getting up there for a 4 cyl. Beautiful car though. I hope you enjoy it.

Doesn't that just piss you off when someone else totally disrespects your property. Wouldn't you just love to catch them in the act.

The Lancer has a mean looking front end. It's a nice car though. Congratulations and enjoy the gas savings.
