I was a bit disappointed with this intake. Although I did receive all pieces in the ebay pictures, it needs 2 couplings to attach all parts to both sides of the MAS, and comes with only 1.?? Now, there may some way that badtz figures to use only one coupling, but this also comes with NO instructions. Also there are 2 brkts/straps that appear to fit to nothing. Again, instructions would be of great help! When e-mailed badtz about the "missing" coupler, he said, "The 2 straps are not necessary to install and I the extra hose can be purchased at a local autozone or kregan, I apologize for the oversight.
Thanks to others on this forum, and stops at numerous auto stores that did not carry the proper size as stated, and finally Home Depot, I was able to get this intake installed the way it appears to be designed.
So, for 90.00, it may be worth it, as you do get most of the parts to install, but badtz.boyz sure could've made this much simpler, and COMPLETE, experience. Personally, knowing what I know now, a 50.00 KN that attaches directly to the MAS, would have been a better route to take, plus the MAS looks like it's a 3 inch opening and this "clone" opening is smaller via the chrome reducer to KN that comes with it. But the long intake pipe is not bad looking and along with the elbow, may be worth the price here. I give this deal about a 6 out of 10 and will give badtz.boyz a neutral rating on ebay, knowing full well he'll give a neutral or negative in retaliation.
I would leave pix, if I could figure out how to attach them, but it looks the same as the how-to thread, basically.
