  • third brake light overlay seal

I'm on my second overlay now...didn't like the first one all that much. I like the one I have now, but it doesn't seal completely. Some red shines through from the bottom. Does anyone know of a good material to put around there to seal it up? I was thinking of just putting electriccal tape around it, but that sounded cheezy.

        Doh, good point.

They make it in black too, but some might still shine through.

          what about liquid e-tape?

Electrical tape in the liquid form. Comes in a can and you brush it on and it dries like regular electrical tape. Funky stuff.

if you plan on having the brake light on for a long time, just use touch up paint on the brake light around the edges.

Mike had a good idea.. I would go with the electrical tape (normal style.. just lay it over the seal to where the sticker wont have any dead spots and it should get rid of any halo affect, still seal properly and if you decide you dont want it later on be easily removable... just my $.02 tho!
