it's like the ones in a ford escort/taurus/whatever else where all the climate controls and everything use the same faceplate. they make entire replacement pieces for that though. and glassing that in won't be too hard, he might have to redo the whole piece to make it match perfectly but he could blend it pretty well.

Fiberglass really isnt all that hard, if it was me though.. I'd get a piece of plexy (black or paint it to color match) and get it to mold right into the holes of the dash. One more thing and this is just me $.02, why buy a nice ass car and put a JVC unit it in **shrugs shoulders**

that JVC head unit retails for $600. The cheapest on ebay is around $400.

JVC makes some pretty nice head units. Matsushita owns them afterall.

Thats the main reason people can't do fiberglass.. it's not like you need any real talent just patients and an eye to see if things are level (I'm talking in regards to car stereo stuff, cars is a horse of another color). But like I said, he could use a peice of plexy and fill the hole in perfectly.. take a LITTLE body filler go over the seam and make it flawless and it would look like it came that way from the factory.. very easy fix!
