More air!!!!

I know this has been talked about...if someone could lead me to the thread or give me instructions I'd appreciate it. I already bought the K/N drop in replacement air filter and remember something about making the hole that the air enters the air box through bigger. Where is the hole, how do I get at it, how big is it, what's the best way to cut it bigger?

You could take the intake resonator out.

it's pretty hard to cut that hole bigger because it's right at the edge of the box, so you'd cut part of the side of the box too.

I just took the air res off and going to adventally get the K and N filter drop in prob, but unless you get one of Kyle's air intakes or build one your self you not really going to get more air in, even cutting a whole in the side of the air box might help your prob not going to even notice a diffrence, just a waste of time, but thats only my oppinon

I swiss cheased my box and didn't see much of an improvement. Honestly you should just get an intake from kyle if you want more air.

Gutted boxes are still bound by the box. Some cars are great, but the proof is in the post above me...

yea, that is if you want to spend the money on the intake. If not, you're still gonna be stuck with a restricted airbox no matter how many holes you put it in.
