So I took my rear busted ass bumper off...

I can't fuggin see anywhere where this stupid rear bumper comes off my Coupe. Anyone have suggestions? I'm fuggin' repairing my car as I'm sure I'll do it cheaper than insurnace will. Edit- it's off, go read further down.

MI law's don't QUITE work that way. If he had no insurnace (not sure if he did yet), HE would have to pay.. which means I'd have to take him to court and liek others said... not worth the headache's and hassle. I can probably replace my bumper and valance and spray for less than 300.00 if I can locate a rear Coupe bumper for cheap.

Update:

Welp, I have the entire rear bumper off and in my garage. I dunno if it's sad or if I am that dman good.. but it only took 20 minutes to remove it, lol. All the holds the entire unit on is 2 push pin things in teh wheel well, two screws (one at teh bottom of the well and one near the top) and that was it. Rest of the bumper just "popped" off. Car kinda looks cool liek this, lol.

My plans (or my thinking, actually) is to repair the bumper, replace the lower valance, mold the too together, prime and paint the whole thing. TH emore I thought about painitng the lower piece.. the more I thought, well, then there will be a line there. So, we'll see.










My camera (new camera, mind you) is a fuxxord up for some reason, I think I messed up a setting. Anywyas, if you look at teh last pic and kinda quint and make it MORe blurry... you can kinda see what the rear of teh car will look like all red and no black anymore....I like it.

Check your macro settings on the camera...that happened with my old one and I thought it was fuxxored, but it was just that.

Damn that's CHEAP! One question, though... are the Coupe and Sedna bumpers the same or diffrnet? I thougth they were diffrent because of the tail lights.. or does the bottom of both coupe and sedan tailights have the same lines...?

Hey, what shop? I'm not sure if I am going to apint it or have a shop do it, if I paint it, I sure as hell will have to buy a lot more paint than I have. I probably have enough for a full spray.. but I'd need atleast 1/2 gallon to mix and prep to spray 3 coats on the entire piece. My shop wouldn't bebale to get to it til end of May.
