looks nice, i was thinking about ordering the dr-speed stg-3 with the cold air box(as soon as it comes out), then buying a peice of aluminum tubing and having my local shop guys bend me a full alm intake.(the alumin tubing goes for $1.69lb) so i hope i can do it

i like that red filter. cars lookin good, except (don't get mad) i personally do not like that bug deflector on a G6, especially on a red one where it stands out even more. I think it would look much better without it, but once again all that matters is if you like it.

i might get it painted to match car not sure yet what i am gonna do wanna wait to make sure i dont get body kit if i do i will paint everything at once

i dont really think you will notice any gains with this you would have to go to track & try with & with out to find out or dyno

do you really need a bug deflector though? it's not even the entire width of the car.

                  Ok two things.
#1 Get rid of that filter.

Its Garbage. Don't bother to question it, it wont flow more than the paper insert.

#2 The rest of the CAI looks good

                  #3 drop the deflectors

#4 give me your car :]

Actually, S&B was my filter of choice.

But I know that filter, and honestly, On my 98 GTP I gained a lot of power going from that filter to the S&B. I would imagine they flow similar amounts of engine CFM so it should have the same effect on the 3.9 GTP

a lot of testing has shown that K&N actualy isn't as great as they say but these tests were run by competing companies so of course they're gonna make K&N look bad. I've run K&N on everything I've owned from my '69 Impala, '77, Silverado, '77 Camaro, '02 Cavalier Sport, and now my '06 Pontiac thanks to Kyle I love K&N's and I have tried other filters and I think they are all crap except the original K&N. There have been a lot of "copy cat" filters that have come out using the same idea but no one knows those brand names. I would go with a K&N--not to mention you can get them brand new off Ebay for relatively cheap.

As for the bug deflector I think the magnet bra would look much much better-I have it on my car and I took it off the other day to wash the car and I hate the way the hood looks without it now.

I also hate bug shields but am ordering one for my red G6 as my car with a whomping 8K on it already has goddamn rock chips in the hood. I also ordered the 3M ClearBra on eBay. Put one on the CreamPie and it rocks! Strongly recommend.. However steer clear of the cheap ClearBra, it sucks.
