GTO Oil cap

I saw in the 06 GTO dealers book that it has a Mobile 1 one racing oil cap. Do you think that would be the same size as the G6 GTPs oil cap to screw on? Think that look good under the hood an oil cap that says mobile 1 racing?

It might possibly be, since they're both GM parts...but you might wanna ask the parts department first.

Yeah call up the dealership and ask them for the part number of the GTO oil filler cap and then ask for the G6 one.. see if they are the same, if they are everywhere!

They're the same, Thats the same oil cap as the whole LS family of V8's. The vette started out using Mobil1. So the cap has the logo on it.

The 3x00 engines use the same size/style of oil caps too. (3100/3400/3500/3900)

I have a Vette LS1 engine oil cap on my 3x00 valve covers on the sunbird for the last 5 years:

yas you can get a oil cap for it

the cadillacs have them i ordered one for my car it came to 22 dollars thats my gm cost and its canadian.

Yeah some of us have Mobil 1 oil caps and they fit perfectly fine.

Yeah I have one as well and I think it only cost me like 12 or 13 bucks shipped from gmpartsdirect.com

I know the cobalt ss has the same oil cap as well if the gto doesnt work.

I was really close to trading the sixer in for a GTO a while back, dealer wouldnt work on numbers like I would have liked so I walked!
