    Double Din Dvd/Tv/Navigation System

    hey guys, I have looked at everyone's post about the double din and the kits to install other radios. After plenty of research, I think I have fallen in love with this in dash dvd/tv/navigation system. Tell me what you think. I would love to hear everyone's response.

    "DUB G6" 20" Diablo Fatboy Rims, DUB badge on the trunk, DUB 20" badges on both fenders, Pioneer Premier DEH-P680MP Cd/MP3 player, Scosche GMLan Kit, Two Rockford Fosgate 12's, Rockfard Fosgate Amp. Tint 20% Rear/40% Front.

    Next: Aftermarket headlights, Remove Pinstripes, DVD player In The Glove Compartment & Two Tv's In The Headrest With Wireless Headphones. There Is No G6 Cleaner Than Mine.

    can you encorporate the DIC into it, or do you need one of those two other head units that have the DIC...i dont like any of them bc i'd rather have one that lit up red to match everything else. at some point i want to get one of these screens like you posted...how much is that one, it looks good.

      I found this one on Ebay for $958.00, but that ends on 3/29. No there won't be any incorporation of the DIC. I have thought long and hard about it and I don't really need it.

        Just hope nothing else on the car messes up from not having it in there anymore. Do those things mount cleanly? The last time I saw one in a G6 it looked like there was some custom molding around the edges and it didn't look too good.

          The new AVIC-Z1 has a lot less plastic around the edges.

          I ordered one and it is going in my G6 when it comes in. Should be in April.

          I am also going to purchase a DIC kit and see if I can "hack" it up to relocate it, but if it doesn't work, the Navi is more important to me as well.

          I will post pictures.

          By the way, I have been reading your forums for a few weeks and finally decided to post. Hello to all!

              you know that one is nicer, well when the time comes, I'll probably end up getting that one

                  I looked a little further and I don't know if that pioneer one plays Dvd's or not, but I found a JVC one that I know for sure does, but it doesn't have the navigation. Hmm decisions decisions. What do you guys think about JVC as a brand for stereo equipment?

                      JVC is usually worth it for the money (you get what you pay for) they arent going to be top of line but not bottom of the ladder either... Put it this way for $700 you get basically all the same features as $1,200 minus one or two things that you can live with out.. its a no brainer IMO!

                        Picked up my AVIC-Z1 today from my dealer.

                        $2250 plus "Applicable State Tax" (Should have ordered online!)

                        I will post pictures when I get it installed. Might be a few days though.

                          Yeah I would love to see that and why didn't you order online, I know sometimes it's risky, but a little research can get a very good seller.

                            Ouch, man u could have saved about $400 looking online, and this was a quick search just to see the prices!

                              I am the most impatient person I know.

                              It is worth the $400 to me to not go insane waiting around for the UPS guy. Believe me.

                              I would have missed the next three days of work sick with anxiety.

                              My wife will attest to that.

                              Also, the dealer that I use has taken care of me for 11 years, so I have to take care of them. Local shops come and go all too often.
