  • Book of Knowledge?

Didn't someone have a seriously complete manual that showed everything G6?

I'm looking for all the mount points for the rear facia (below the trunk, covering the rear bumper area)... For anyone following along, I crunched the back of my car today, and pretty much pulled it off, except for a bit on the left side. It doesn't appear to be damaged (except for the valence which will be replaced), but I just want to make sure I get it on right.

I'm not a car person, but my mechanic lives 50 miles away, so I'd like to do this myself.

I have a service manual DVD from 2005, so it only shows sedans. Is that what you're driving?

Yup, it's a sedan. Does the coupe have the same rear body panel? I never really looked. Anyways, yeah, if you can grab a screen shot or something I'd be eternally greatful. Well, maybe not eternally... But for an awful long time

The coupe/verts are totally different everywhere rear of the a-pillar.

Here's what I think you're looking for. If you're not, just let me know and I'll do some more looking.

The rear valence is different? I always thought that was the same.

Yup, that's what I need... The view is a little funny, but I think it's good enough for my purposes. Thanks

Ah right, I forgot what we were talking about here.

Actually the bumper cover is called a "rear bumper valence" in the service manual, and the lower part is called the lower valence, so technically I might be right, even if I knew exactly what we were talking about.
