open on tips for custom exhaust

ok i'm fixing to do an exhaust system on my gt coupe i'm taking out everything from the res and back gonna use magnaflow muffler into 2.5 piping and t into duels at the rear axle i'm tryin to decide on tips dunno if i want a 3'' or 4'' i kow the sound will vary need opinons

just check out the other threads on exhausts, i'm not worrying about mine til summer. not many people have done their exhausts yet, but a couple people have and posted pics. are you getting the gtp rear fascia for the dual tips? also, isn't it really loud without any sort of res?

yeah i've already got the fascia on order i'm using the same magnaflow muffer as coupe in place of the res[/img]

I feel it will be to loud with just the one so I am dropping in
two high flow mufflers in line. Replace the resonator
with a Magnaflow and the muffler in back with the
flowmaster. Should be deeper than stock but not too loud.

The tips make a difference other than cosmetic?
I didnt know that.

yeah from what i understand the larger the outlet of the tip will change the sound.. i cant what to hear the way your exhaust sounds that sounds like a good set up it may just sway my exhaust ideas lol

i put a flowmaster on GT with the valence off a GTP so i could run duals with some 3.5 in tips.. sounds good..

brandon what all did you replace when you did your system.. and i do like your tips where did you get them

all i had done was i had the huge ass old muffler taken out in place is a flowmaster delta 50 with dual outlets.. i had to buy the GTP valence.. then the muffler shop that put it on had those tips (for trucks) but the fit the valence nicely so i told him to put them on.. i think they were like 30 dollars a piece..

the same tips I have. Rolled angled cut....?

I have access to a sound clipper when I get it done.
The FLowmaster Muffler should be in by Wednesday.
