What's the difference between the two actually? Can I get one and use it for both? I see that they always go down in price at the same time when there's a special.

they are close to the same thing. capert cleaner is for more deep cleaner since carpet is thicker, upholstery is your seats, very thin so its not as concentrated i think. but carpet cleaner will work on both it dont matterits might just be a family sedan, but girls love this car -
Carpet cleaners double as an upholstery cleaner, but not vice versa.
