    Are these good?

    I checked out this site http://www.carspace.com/guides/How-to-U ... r-or-Truck

and don't understand why it suggests skipping the spray wax? Also, I know the brush can scratch up the car, so I guess I should bring along my own cloths?

Spray wax is for the car person in a hurry. I used it once, and it doesn't even hold a candle to real wax you buff on and off. You might as well use something like Mothers Show Car shine spray.

I wouldn't use brushes either. I only use hand mitts or sponges.

True the spray wax is useless, just a silicon based water spray is all... but the fact they tell you to use the foaming brush takes away all merit.

I hope you're kidding about the sponges. I mean they're ok if you constantly rinse them, but they can easily trap dirt and debris as well as any brush out there.
