  • Painted my engine cover today

So i got bored at home with a sick kid today, and this is what happened

Its actually a Duplicolor Saphire color Blue. (I believe it was a Honda color..shhhh dont tell no1!) After about 10 coats i had a little chameleon paint left from an earlier project, So i dusted it, man when the sun hits this it SPARKLES!! The chameloen almost has a purplish tint to it now. The pics make it look kinda dirty but its actually the mettalic showing inthe sun.! What ya think?!?!?

Yeah that definitely looks good... I would get an intake and paint the stock tubing that same blue, is that the metal cast because if so I def like it!!!

simplyred... DEF in the plans to paint the intake(when i get back from VEGAS)

Lojac.... Its a Duplicolor metalic blue (touch up) of the Honda persuasion.

Emerson.... I taped of the letters to begin with, I even used 3m masking, But it pulled the original color off with it. So i had some silver model paint and hand brushed them, almost looks like brushed alluminum.

          Thanks guys for the props!

Looks good! Cheap easy upgrade, might as well do what we can while we wait for other "aftermarkets" to be done!

Anyone think the painting the battery cover box to match would be "TO much" underneath??!! I have been contemplating this all day, just not sure!
