the V6 and the GT are the same 3.5 engine. The GT is tuned suspension and different gear ratio making more speed. and of course different appearance package.

Yep, everything here is correct. The GT has always been the V6 with a sport suspension and higher final drive ratio.

            Confusing but everything is correct.
Is there much performance difference between the V6 and the GT since they both use the same V6 engine?
What about between the 2005-06 and the 2007+ since they have different V6 engines?

It's not major, but the higher final drive of the GT means it accelerates a bit quicker.

              The 2007 V6 is a totally different 3.5L engine putting out 224hp. So yea, it'll be a bit faster than the 200hp 05/06 V6.

speaking of appearance package! what is the major difference between a 2.4/v6 sedan and a GT? do they have lower skirts or what is it they have that the regular sedan's don't?

I am guessing so don't sue me - I am guessing it's the twin tailpipes, better rims, leather seats , perhaps climate control....

Just going on what I got on mine for the Performance package..got all that plus Monsoon 6 cd changer (not sure if that was extra or all have this though) oh and must not forget I got the 3.9L engine rather then the 3.5L but I am not sure if this "appearance" package and the "performance" package are one and the same?
