    Curse of the G6 strikes again =(

    Just got home from work to find my passenger side front rim and the area around it where the fender flares out all scratched up, somebody probably hit it in my work parking lot. I normally don't face the passenger side when I walk to my car, so it may be a few days old by now. The flare will probably be a $100 touch-up paint job at the body shop, but the rim would need to be replaced outright. I'm probably leaving the rim for now as it really isn't that bad, but it still sucks that you can't have anything nice

      The cylinder heads project has me saving most of my cash besides some minor appearance mods, I doubt I could afford rims unfortunately.

                      yea and depending on your deductible you may end up fronting the whole thing, there are plenty of rims on here for sale so you might be able to buy one or on ebay for cheap.

                            you could always see how much it is to powdercoat them if the finish is just scratched off

                              The edges of two of the spokes are roughed up. They are the ultrabrights, so I don't know if the average place can refinish them. I don't want it to look like a half-assed job.
