Wax on my plastic parts, side skirts and rear fascia.

Any ideas on how to get it out? I figured washing and time would simply remove it, but no go.

I know a couple of the pros will chime in here but there are a few products that will take it off. I waxed mine over a year ago and the plastic still looks like shit-at least I have the new rear valance so that looks 1000x better.

Back to Black does not work for me on those parts. Instead I use interior dash/vinyl cleaning wipes. They work great the first time I go over the valences.

Meguiar's Gold Class trim detailer takes the wax off and leaves the plastic looking brand new.

Ditto, that's what I use.. nothing really works faster. But I also use wax blaster and that works just as good basically.

PlastX? That's a plastic polish not a wax remover.

WD-40 takes it off pretty good. It all depends on how thick the wax is on there. Rubbing alcohol works well too. Good luck.

i use mother back to black and it shines my plastic parts grille, side skirts, rear valence, sideview mirrors, windshield wipers, basically anything that can get water marks or wax residue on and it cleans it up nice.
