Ive gone to 4800 rmp. Im too scared to go above that. Dont know though, sorry.
Dont BOV or your going to cause a boost spike and leak blinker fluid causing you to lock up your muffler bearings.

      I think it's 6800rpm. Or 6500, can't remember.

I dont belive the GTP has a rev limiter on the GT motor does. But you do have torque management where if you try to take your RPMs like to 4K and dump it once it hits the road even with TC off the PCM will pull engine some engine power to maintain control. If you deleted torque management with HP tunners then your all set

Pretty sure they all have fuel-cutoff rev limiters.

GMs spec sheets say that the LX9 (older 3.5L) has a fuel shutoff at 6000 RPM and that the LZ9 (3.9L) has a fuel shutoff at 6400 RPM. so to answer the original question, i guess the rev limiter on an 06 GTP would be 6400 RPM.

edit: to add to this GM listed the maximum shift speed of the 4T65 automatic at only 6000RPM for the 3-4 shift but above the 6400 RPM engine limit for 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. i guess the computer just shifts it into 4th sooner.

Thats so high up its like not having one!

A couple hundred more out of it would probably help with torque multiplication, though.

Even if its 6400 or 6800, how often are you there?
Dont BOV or your going to cause a boost spike and leak blinker fluid causing you to lock up your muffler bearings.

3900 has a rev limiter. I've hit it before. I think mine's about 6,500 with the Vector tune. Hard to tell because it hits the limiter before the tach can get that high

Unless Im merging onto the highway, I never have to go about 4000 rpm. The 3.9 has enough umph at the lower rmp for me

Same. My engine hasn't seen above 3500rpm in a while now

GT-R exhaust + Vector tune = lots of time spent in upper RPMs
