Lately there's a dramatic drop in the gas prices, at least here in Waterloo it looks like it. It's been a record low for the past few weeks, down to 93.8c/L.
However, there's one observation: Esso gas stations are always out of fuel, when the others are busy slashing prices. To me, this just sounds fishy. Simple demand and supply economics to me. Cut the supply when demand stays constant, prices go up. I'm looking forward to see their excuse for not having fuel.
Price gouging on the loose, if you ask me.
