  • This could be it...

.....For my G6 & I. I love the thing to death.. I've had great times. But I can no longer afford the monster payments. Over the past few months I've been getting deeper and deeper into the hole.. my parents have given me 5 grand towards other expenses so I can keep it. And now I've decided I just can't do it anymore. I have a few meetings with banks today to try and get re-financed. If not, I'm taking my car to my dealership and trading it in for a 05 Sunfire sedan with 18,000 kms on it. And either way my mom is paying for my insurance til next March. Needless to say.. I think this is going to be a very sad day.

Sorry to hear that. Good luck with everything. Maybe once you get it all figured out another G6 will come your way.

Well, at least you're smart and aren't driving yourself into more debt trying to have things you can't quite afford. Eventually you'll be able to afford the things you want...no worries. :smoke:

Wouldn't trading a car that you still owe money on put you into more debt? Unless of course you make more than what you owe or equal the amount.

Work out the numbers cause you are going to lose big time trading in a one year old car. GM's resale value sucks.

Why not get a second job?

I've been looking at ways to decrease my expenses too cause it's hard to keep up every month but I started working part time at night instead. Couldn't really find anything to take out of the budget. It's better to find a way to make more money than spend less, IMO.
